- Zoom QuickPro: QuickPro is an in-office procedure that gives quick results. Once the mouth and gums are prepped, it only takes a few minutes to apply the whitening varnish to the teeth. The next step is an anti-sensitivity sealant applied over the varnish on each tooth. Thirty minutes later, all the patient has to do is brush away the whitening varnish with a toothbrush and water, completing the treatment. Results from a QuickPro application are up to four shades whiter, and the treatment can be followed up with a take-home kit if further whitening is desired.
- Zoom WhiteSpeed: Zoom WhiteSpeed is a light-activated whitening system with more dramatic results than QuickPro. For this whitening treatment, the dentist preps the mouth and gums to protect the soft tissue from the bleaching gel and the high-powered whitening light. Next, the WhiteSpeed solution is applied to the patient’s teeth and allowed to work for 15 minutes. Most WhiteSpeed whitening sessions go through three 15-minute cycles, but a fourth cycle is an option if the dentist feels it is warranted. Some patients may want to continue the whitening process with a Zoom take-home kit.

1. Zoom DayWhite: DayWhite comes in various formulations for a custom whitening plan:
- DayWhite Maximum White: This tray-based option only needs to be worn twice a day for 15 minutes each time. It is a 14% hydrogen peroxide solution. The kit should be used for about two weeks.

- Quick 3-Day: This option is for patients who want fast, dramatic results. The concentration is 22% carbamide peroxide. The trays are meant to be worn overnight or for two to four hours a day.

How To Prepare for Teeth Whitening
Preparing for Zoom whitening is fairly simple and easy. Our team recommends that patients start with a recent dental exam and cleaning. Before coming into the office on the day of the procedure, patients should brush and floss. It may also be more comfortable to apply lip balm before the treatments so the lips do not get too dry during the whitening process. Other than that, there are no special things to do before treatment. Patients should be able to drive themselves to and from the procedure as no anesthesia is required.
